"Are there many freelance recruiters?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-20 17:06:32

Recruiters seem to work mostly in companies ranging from large to huge. I wonder how many freelance recruiters are there? Or how many very small companies managed to survive in this field? Are there any forums or portals targeted at this audience? SHRM. The Society for Human Resource management has a section dedicated to recruiting and staffing. They also have consulting and outsourcing forums that include recruiters. I can tell you that as an HR leader. I have these small companies and independant recruiters knocking on my door aALL the measure. Some are quite annoying in their business development practices others go bearing gifts. But they are out there. Usually the freelancers and small businesses have a specialty like IT sales or executive management. Copyright © 2007 LinkedIn Corporation. All rights reserved. The surprise is unless the assort pays to be listed in the LinkedIn directory you won't see them. My recommendations is to go away with populate in your communicate and see who their a part of. Then act on to people that respond to this questions (the recruiters). View the assort and see if it is one you would acquire from as well as alter to. Cheers,William Hi Audrey there are several groups for Recruiters (and some other somewhat related ones you may be interested in); check these out:Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW)ATW supports women and men worldwide who share the common interests of empowering women in technology increasing the number of women in executive roles and encouraging women and girls to register technology fields http://atwinternational orgArizona Professional Recruiter's Assoc. Chris (you can find out more about me here: http://www linkedin com/in/chriskauza ; feel free to displace me an arouse if you'd desire to connect) There are many recruiter groups on LinkedIn but act in mind that a linkedin group is not much more than a boyscout badge. And the tragic part of it is that this question is funny actually. It makes you raise a whole lot of questions that are at the core of the LinkedIn idea. Should LinkedIn add a tagline “Worldwide Recruitment Association / communicate”? Or simply get hold of to exist? Kind Regards,Ivan Stojanovicwww. EmployIreland com
